Petrochemical industry will use foreign capital or joint venture to build a large ethylene plant with an annual output of 600,000 tons in Yangzi, Fujian and Tianjin. For the three chemical pumps, the market demand for large chemical fertilizer methylamine pumps, large and medium-sized high temperature and high pressure magnetic pumps, non-metallic chemical pumps of special materials will have a certain growth. At present, China's crude oil production is 189 million tons, crude oil processing is 405 million tons, ethylene production is 14.19 million tons, and fertilizer production is 66.2 million tons. If the domestic self-sufficiency rate remains at 60 percent, then domestic ethylene demand will increase by 6 million tons a year.
At present, China's petrochemical industry is developing towards large-scale, scale and internationalization.
Petrochemical demand is expected to exceed ethylene demand by 30 million tons a year by 2012. At the same time to yanshan, Yangtze, Qilu, Maoming and other large and medium-sized ethylene expansion and transformation. In the next 3 to 5 years, new large-scale ethylene plants in Yangzi, Fujian, Tianjin and Shanghai will need to be equipped with new integrated refining units. At the same time, the refinery will also build 10 million tons of atmospheric and vacuum devices and 3 million tons of pressure cracking devices, but also use a large number of high viscosity pumps; On the other hand, many of the various types of pumps operated by the current refineries have been aging and are in urgent need of renewal and transformation.
It is estimated that by 2012, China's annual demand for crude oil will reach 280 million tons, and the annual import of crude oil will reach 80 million to 100 million tons. Therefore, in the next three to five years, we need to increase ethylene production capacity by 2.5 to 3 million tons per year. On the other hand, ethylene in the international market has a great impact on China's market, and the domestic ethylene industry has to take various measures to reduce production costs, including in the second phase of ethylene expansion and transformation to improve the rate of equipment localization, which will bring new growth points for petrochemical high temperature oil pumps.
