Several main classification methods are introduced.
 
1. Classification according to impeller class
(1) There is only one impeller on the pump shaft of single-stage heat conduction oil pump. Because the fluid only has one chance to increase energy in the pump, the pump pressure and head are low.
(2) Multi-stage heat conduction oil pump is equipped with two or more than two impellers on the same pump shaft. The impeller of multistage pump is generally single suction type, but also the first stage impeller is designed as double suction type. A impeller is a level, the more the series, the higher the pressure, head, and the greater the imbalance of the axial force on the rotor. Multistage heat conduction oil pump is mostly equipped with axial force balancing device.
2. Classification by suction mode of impeller
(1) Single suction high temperature heat conduction oil pump liquid flows from one side to the impeller, the impeller of this pump is easy to manufacture, the most widely used. Because the liquid is sucked from the impeller side, the pressure on both sides of the impeller is not the same, resulting in axial thrust.
(2) The liquid of double suction heat conduction oil pump flows into the impeller from both sides. Because the liquid flow on both sides of the impeller is symmetrical, there is no axial force.
3. Classification according to pump shell division
(1) The open shell is divided on the plane through the axis line. If the main shaft is horizontally arranged, it is called horizontal open heat conduction oil pump; If the main shaft is vertical structure, it is called vertical open heat conduction oil pump.
(2) Sectional surface of each section of the pump shell is vertical to the main shaft, and long bolts are fastened between each section of the pump shell. Segmented heat conduction oil pumps are multistage pumps.
4. Classification according to pump shell shape
(1) Heat conduction oil pump with spiral pressure chamber, such as the commonly used single suction cantilever heat conduction oil pump.
(2) Turbine pump equipped with guide vane type pressure chamber heat conduction oil pump.
5. Classification according to pump shaft orientation
(1) Horizontal pump pump shaft placed horizontally.
(2) vertical pump pump shaft perpendicular to the horizontal plane.
Heat conduction pump can also be divided into shield pump, magnetic pump, self-priming pump, pipeline pump, submersible pump and so on according to its special structure.
