Stainless steel gear pump axial force balance method

 
The axial force of the stainless steel gear pump will make the gear move along the axial direction to the suction chamber, increasing the wear of the gear meshing part, so try to balance the axial force. The methods are as follows:
 
(1) Install thrust bearings,
(2) balance piston. As shown in FIG. 37, a balance piston 2 with a large diameter is set at the discharge end of the driving gear. On the other side of the driving stainless steel gear shaft of the balance piston, there is an oil drain hole A connected with the suction chamber, so that the back pressure of the balance piston is close to the suction pressure. Therefore, the axial force acting on the balance piston is directed from the suction chamber to the discharge chamber, thus counteracting most of the axial force;

(3) Lead the high pressure oil to the bottom of the screw thrust shaft sleeve. FIG. 37 shows the introduction of pressure oil through the central guide hole B of the driven screw. When the driven gear is long and thin, it is not suitable to drill oil holes, special holes can be set up on the pump body;
(4) Double suction structure, this structure is especially suitable for dry large displacement oil pump, In order to make the bearing end and shaft seal from the action of high-pressure oil, usually oil suction at both ends and oil discharge in the middle, so that the axial force is basically balanced.
